The Trailblazers—the phenoms of the season so far setting the tone for season expectations and exploiting matches by showcasing a signature spark to their game.
These Trailblazer’s performances are being noticed by EA equipping them with new PlayStyles(+) boosts in Ultimate Team and with the new signature abilities they’ve shown on the pitch.
As far as I can tell, it appears that most of the players were granted an additional Playstyle or Playstyle+. These seem to be the difference in many cards this year.
Top Tier
With players such as Mbappe, Hansen, Griezman, and Bellingham getting these juiced cards this early in the cycle, it's going to create a serious chasm in player acquisition for the casual gamer. Most of us will not even be able to sniff these players during this promo.
We'll have to look back at this next week and see where some prices settle, but I think that Ruben Dias may be quasi-affordable because of his Pace stat. It looks like Dias will have the highly sought after "Anticipate" Playstyle+ which makes him super desirable in my opinion.
MLS getting some love!
Maybe it's the Messi effect!

Lucho Acosta and Kai Wagner
Now, if you're running an MLS squad, these are actually some pretty cracked cards. Lucho Acosta will be a very nice addition to any squad that is trying to find chem links for Messi. It does appear that neither of these cards were granted a Playstyle+ ability and to me, that's shame.
