Having a bit of coin ( about 800k ) in my account, I thought "Hmmm…maybe I can start some trading and push me over a million". Well, Diamond Hands I am not!
The Strategy
I know that Trading Groups on Discord and Patreon are all the rage right now but I personally didn't want to spend money on something that I could probably learn watching a few YouTube videos not to mention my experience over the past 10 years playing Ultimate Team.
I have never really tried to make a mint off of the Transfer Market but figured with the Gameplay in the state that it's currently in, I'd try something new.
I dove into to several videos and quickly learned of the section on Futbin that is essentially akin to watching the Stock Market. Of course there were a million things to look at and analyze, but I just wanted to start off with a singular player that I could count on to remain in peoples squads heading into WL.

The plan was to buy in at 4k or less on Sunday and sell at 6k on Weds/Thurs. Easy, right?
I was sold on the plan and managed to buy 30 of him and added to my Transfer List.
Buy Low, Sell Lower????
As the week progressed, Llorente's price was very stagnant and even dropped to around 3500 coins. I was legitimately stunned as I thought I had a real easy money maker here.
Going into Thursday night his price rose a bit into the 3700-3800 range so I quickly sold off about 5 of them to mitigate the loss a bit.
Friday's content drop
As we approached the hour when EA drops content, I realized that I had made not necessarily a bad investment, but one that I thought would make me an easy 50k+.
I sold off the remaining 25 Llorente's for around 3700 a piece and was fine with only loosing a few thousand coins overall. It could have been worse, right?

All I could do was laugh!
Not only did Marcos Llorente's card check all the boxes for this particular upgrade that was just released, like minutes after selling off my lot of investment cards, EA used his card as the in-game example of the Evolution progression.
Marcos Llorente's card instantly went from just under 4k to 10k insta sells!
I could have netted over 175k! The investment was absolutely spot on, I just didn't hold on long enough.
Of course I'm doing it!
As Llorente was already in my squad and seeing the crazy boosts that this Evolution would give him I did not hesitate to pull the trigger on spending the 150k coins on pursuing this! No brainer for my squad and for many others' it seems.
I think I'll stick to just completing SBCs and Objectives and stay away from trading for awhile. Peace!
